Good for our target audience

We've run a few campaigns now with Snapchat for Business, mostly using Story Ads and some AR Lenses. This latest Website Conversion Ad campaign performed consistently with previous ones, which is what we need. It's reliable for reaching our demographic, so we keep coming back. The Ads Manager is familiar now, no surprises.

Got a good deal for my first ads

I was looking to advertise and saw they had a new advertiser credit. That definitely made me choose them over other options. I spent the minimum and got the credit applied right in the Ads Manager, which was great. It essentially cut my first campaign cost significantly. Felt like good value for trying out the platform without a huge upfront commitment. The App Install Ad campaign itself is doing okay, nothing spectacular, but the initial discount made it worth the experiment.

Got my first campaign going

So I finally decided to try out Snapchat ads for my little business. It was actually pretty easy to get started with Instant Create. I did a Single Video Ad and it went live after a bit. The whole thing felt less complicated than I expected, which was a relief. Happy with how it turned out for a first try.

Smooth setup, good support

I recently launched a new product and decided to try Snapchat's Dynamic Ads. The setup process for the product catalog was fairly intuitive, and integrating the Pixel Tracking was less complicated than with some other platforms. I had a quick question about audience segmentation, and their support got back to me within a few hours, which was helpful. The ad approval took about a day and a half. Overall, the campaign is performing well so far, and I appreciate the detailed Audience Insights available after launch. It really helped fine-tune our next steps.

Ad approval was quick

I used Instant Create for a Single Image Ad. Setup was pretty straightforward. Ad got approved faster than I thought it would, which was good. Got the campaign running quickly.

I'm weighing up Snap Ads vs TikTok. My target is mostly Gen Z. Is Snap still the go-to for that age group, or has TikTok totally taken over?

L Lisa A. 2 months ago
Snapchat is definitely still super strong with Gen Z, especially with the AR stuff. My campaigns there always do well for that demographic.

Honestly, depends on your product. TikTok has huge reach, but Snap's engagement, especially with the lenses, can be crazy effective for Gen Z if you have something visual. Maybe try both with a small budget first?

Thinking of running a campaign for Black Friday. Is that a good time to get started with Snapchat ads, or will it be super expensive because everyone else is also advertising?

M Megan D. 1 month ago
Black Friday is definitely a peak time for them, they even have special deals for it sometimes. So yeah, it'll be competitive, but if your product fits, the audience is there and ready to buy.

It can be more expensive then because of the demand, but they also offer seasonal ad vouchers sometimes around those big holidays. So you might balance out the cost with a good promo.

What's the deal with payment methods? Can I use something simple like PayPal or do they only take credit cards?

N Nick R. 2 months ago
Pretty sure it's standard credit/debit cards. I've always used my business credit card, never saw a PayPal option.

Yeah, I think it's mostly cards. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, those kinds of things. Don't remember seeing anything else when I set up my billing.

Hey, I'm thinking about trying Snap Ads for my small business. I saw something about free ad credits. How do I actually get one of those, like for my first campaign?

D David Nguyen 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually give you some credit when you sign up as a new advertiser. I got like $100 after I spent my first $50. It just showed up in the billing section.

I think you just create an account and when you go to set up your first campaign, there will be an option or it'll automatically apply based on some spend requirement. I've seen different amounts advertised, depends on the promo going on.
